Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system for a ship and a method thereof, which can effectively cool boil-off gas to increase reliquefaction performance and treat boil-off gas. The boil-off gas treatment system for a ship comprises: a boil-off gas supply line provided in a ship and connected to a main engine in a ship from a storage tank storing liquefied gas; a compressor provided on the boil-off gas supply line and receiving boil-off gas produced from the liquefied gas to compress the boil-off gas by a fuel supply pressure of the main engine; a reliquefaction line branching from the boil-off gas supply line downstream of the compressor to be connected to the storage tank, and cooling compressed gas which is not supplied as fuel of the main engine to reliquefy the compressed gas; a precooler provided on the reliquefaction line to receive the compressed gas to cool the compressed gas by exchanging heat with a refrigerant; a heat exchanger provided on the reliquefaction line and receiving the compressed gas cooled by the precooler to cool the compressed gas by exchanging heat with uncompressed boil-off gas to be supplied to the compressor; and a branch line branching from the reliquefaction line at the front end of the heat exchanger and decompressing the compressed gas to supply the compressed gas to a generation engine consuming fuel with a lower pressure than the main engine via the heat exchanger.

    선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은 선박에 마련되며 액화가스가 저장된 저장탱크로부터 선내 주엔진으로 연결되는 증발가스 공급라인; 상기 증발가스 공급라인에 마련되며 상기 액화가스로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 공급받아 상기 주엔진의 연료공급압력으로 압축하는 압축기; 상기 압축기의 하류에서 상기 증발가스 공급라인으로부터 분기되어 상기 저장탱크로 연결되며, 상기 주엔진의 연료로 공급되지 않은 압축가스를 냉각하여 재액화시키는 재액화 라인; 상기 재액화 라인에 마련되어 상기 압축가스를 공급받아 냉매와의 열교환으로 냉각시키는 예냉기; 상기 재액화 라인에 마련되며 상기 예냉기에서 냉각된 상기 압축가스를 공급받아 상기 압축기로 공급될 미압축 증발가스와 열교환으로 냉각시키는 열교환기; 및 상기 열교환기의 전단에서 상기 재액화 라인으로부터 분기되며 상기 압축가스를 감압하여 상기 열교환기를 거쳐 상기 주엔진보다 저압 연료를 소비하는 발전엔진으로 공급하는 분기라인;을 포함한다.
