The present invention provides a multi-charger, which can charge a plurality of batteries concurrently. A multi-charger according to the present invention comprises: an AC-DC converter converting an alternating current to a direct current; a DC-DC converter connected to an output end of the AC-DC converter, and provided with an isolation transformer and a plurality of control circuits connected mutually in parallel to a secondary side of the isolation transformer; a plurality of charging ports connected to the plurality of control circuits, respectively and provided with charging terminals, respectively; and a control unit controlling, based on temperature information of a battery connected to at least one among the plurality of charging ports, a corresponding control circuit to control the temperature of the battery. The present invention can charge a plurality of batteries concurrently with power similar to that of a conventional charger, thereby largely reducing charging time for all motor vehicles and minimizing a cost burden. In addition, the present invention continuously monitors the temperature of the battery to enable an optimal charging mode to be selected, and optimally maintains the temperature of the battery even after charging is completed to enable battery service life to be remarkably increased.

    본 발명은 다수의 배터리를 동시에 충전할 수 있는 다중 충전기를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 다중 충전기는, 교류를 직류로 변환하는 AC-DC컨버터; AC-DC컨버터의 출력단에 연결되는 것으로서, 절연변압기와, 절연변압기의 2차측에 서로 병렬로 연결된 다수의 제어회로를 구비하는 DC-DC컨버터; 다수의 제어회로에 각각 연결되고 각각 충전단자를 구비하는 다수의 충전포트; 다수의 충전포트 중 적어도 하나에 연결된 배터리의 온도 정보를 기초로 대응하는 제어회로를 제어하여 배터리의 온도를 조절하는 제어부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 종래의 충전기와 비슷한 출력으로 다수의 배터리를 동시에 충전할 수 있으므로 전체 차량의 충전시간을 크게 줄일 수 있으면서도 비용 부담을 최소화할 수 있다. 또한 배터리 온도를 지속적으로 모니터하여 최적의 충전모드를 선택할 수 있고, 충전이 완료된 후에도 배터리의 온도를 최적으로 유지시키므로 배터리의 사용수명을 획기적으로 연장시킬 수 있다.
