The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a radar transmitting cover for vehicle, which simplifies the process and obtains excellent quality. The method of the present invention comprises: a logo molding step of injecting a plastic resin into a logo shape-formed mold to manufacture a certain logo molded article; a primer application step of applying a primer to a front surface of the injected logo molded article to increase adhesive force of metal film deposition; a metal film deposition step of depositing a metal film having metal texture to the thickness which does not prevent transmission of radar radio wave on a front surface of a primer-applied logo molded article; a coating step of coating a front surface of a metal film-deposited logo molded article to protect a deposited metal film; a first insert injection step of inserting a rear surface of a coating layer-formed logo molded article, thereby injection molding a transparent plastic resin material to protect a front surface of the logo molded article; and a second insert injection step of inserting the front surface of the logo molded article, thereby injection molding a high glossy plastic resin material on a rear surface of the logo molded article. Therefore, the method can obtain effects of simplifying manufacturing process of the radar transmitting cover to reduce manufacturing costs and time, and enabling a high-quality radar transmitting cover for vehicle to be manufactured.

    본 발명은 공정이 간소화하고 품질이 우수한 차량용 레이더 투과커버의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 특정 로고 형상이 형성된 금형에 플라스틱 수지를 사출하여 로고 성형품을 제작하는 로고 성형단계와, 금속막 증착의 부착력 증대를 위하여 사출된 로고 성형품의 전면에 프라이머를 도포하는 프라이머 도포단계와, 프라이머가 도포된 로고 성형품의 전면에 금속 재질감을 갖고 레이더 전파의 투과를 방해하지 않는 두께로 금속막을 증착하는 금속막 증착단계와, 증착된 금속막을 보호하도록 금속막이 증착된 로고 성형품의 전면을 코팅하는 코팅단계와, 코팅층이 형성된 로고 성형품의 후면을 인서트하여 로고 성형품의 전면을 보호하도록 투명 재질의 플라스틱 수지를 사출 성형하는 1차 인서트 사출단계, 그리고 로고 성형품의 전면을 인서트하여 로고 성형품의 후면에 고광택 재질의 플라스틱 수지를 사출 성형하는 2차 인서트 사출단계를 포함한다. 이를 통하여, 레이더 투과커버의 제조공정을 간소화하여 제조 비용 및 시간을 절약하고 고품질의 차량용 레이더 투과커버를 제조할 수 있는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
