The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting an obstacle of an unmanned surface vessel. More specifically, the present invention provides an apparatus and a method for detecting an obstacle of an unmanned surface vessel which can detect an obstacle by mutually supplementing a short range detection limit of a radar sensor detecting an obstacle in an unmanned surface vessel, and computation amount and data processing time limits of a lidar sensor.

    본 발명은 무인 수상정의 장애물 탐지 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 무인 수상정에서 장애물을 탐지하는 레이더 센서의 근거리 탐지 한계와 라이더 센서의 연산량과 데이터 처리 시간의 한계를 서로 보완하며 장애물을 탐지할 수 있는 무인 수상정의 장애물 탐지 장치 및 방법을 제안한다.
