Disclosed is an automatic safety tripod. The automatic safety tripod comprises: a prop bar (110); a fixing part (120) for fixing the prop bar (110); two end bars (130) expanding or contracting at both ends of the prop bar (110) in a slidable manner; a support bar (140) for raising or folding the two end bars (130); an actuator (150) for expanding or reducing the length of the support bar (140); and a driver (160) for operating the actuator (150). The fixing part (120) adjusts the slope of the prop bar (110) to fix the prop bar (110), the two end bars (130) have one side combined to both ends of the prop bar (110) and the other side combined to each other. The support bar (140) raises or folds the combined part of the two end bars (130), and the actuator (150) is operated by the driver (160) to expand the support bar (140), so that the prop bar (110) and the two end bars (130) form a tripod. When the support bar (140) is reduced, the two end bars (130) are overlapped and folded with the prop bar (110). Therefore, the present invention can be utilized as a tripod in case of emergency when a user expands or contracts the support bar (140) to fold or unfold the tripod and can be kept in safety by being folded at the end of the situation, can make a rescuer grasp an accident location and move and make a user to cope with emergency situations by informing of emergency situations when a warning light is operated at the top of the tripod. When the tripod lights an LED to inform of an emergency situation, people at a long range can see the tripod.
