Disclosed is a propulsion device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the propulsion device comprises: a propeller hub coupled to a rear end portion of a main shaft exposed outside a stern of a hull to be rotated; a plurality of propeller wings radially disposed around a rotation central axis of the main shaft, and having each root unit rotatably coupled to the propeller hub to perform a folding or unfolding operation with respect to the main shaft; and a driving unit for providing a driving force to allow the plurality of the propeller wings to be performed with the folding or unfolding operation. When the plurality of the propeller wings are folded, a propeller rotation radius decreases, and when the plurality of the propeller wings are unfolded, the propeller rotation radius may increase. According to the present invention, the propeller wings can be positioned under the surface of the water to be rotated even under various operating conditions.

    추진장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 추진장치는, 선체의 선미부 외부로 노출되어 회전하는 메인샤프트의 후단부에 결합되는 프로펠러 허브; 상기 메인샤프트의 회전중심축을 중심으로 방사상으로 배치되고, 각 루트부가 상기 프로펠러 허브에 회전 가능하게 결합되어 상기 메인샤프트에 대해 접힘동작 또는 펴짐동작이 가능한 복수의 프로펠러 날개; 및 상기 복수의 프로펠러 날개의 접힘동작 또는 펴짐동작이 가능하도록 구동력을 제공하는 구동부를 포함하고, 상기 복수의 프로펠러 날개가 접힘동작할 때, 프로펠러 회전반경은 감소하고, 상기 복수의 프로펠러 날개가 펴짐동작할 때, 상기 프로펠러 회전반경은 증가할 수 있다.
