The present invention provides a shift knob assembly, which comprises: a shift rod in which a protruding groove is formed in an upper end; a knob body having an installation space therein, and having a coupling unit into which the shift rod is inserted in a lower side, wherein a coupling hole is penetrated and formed in the coupling unit; and a locking apparatus mounted in the installation space of the knob body, and having a locking lever elastically supported to the coupling hole to be inserted into and caught in the coupling hole. Therefore, when the shift rod is inserted into the coupling unit, the locking lever is pushed by the shift rod to be left from the coupling hole, and when the protruding groove of the shift rod is the same as the coupling hole, the shift rod inserted into the protruding groove and the coupling hole to be caught and fixated to the knob body.

    본 발명에서는 상단에 걸림홈이 형성된 변속 로드; 내부에 설치 공간이 구비되고, 상기 변속 로드가 하측에서 삽입되는 체결부가 구비되며, 체결부에는 체결홀이 관통 형성된 노브 바디; 및 상기 노브 바디의 설치 공간에 장착되고, 체결홀에 삽입되어 걸리도록 체결홀 측으로 탄성 지지되는 로킹 레버가 구비됨으로써 상기 변속 로드가 체결부에 삽입시 로킹 레버가 변속 로드에 밀려 체결홀에서 이탈되되 변속 로드의 걸림홈이 체결홀에 일치되면 걸림홈과 체결홀에 삽입되어 걸림에 따라 변속 로드가 노브 바디에 고정되도록 하는 로킹기구;를 포함하는 변속 노브 조립체가 소개된다.
