According to the present invention, disclosed is a resolver. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the resolver comprises: a stator having one or more exiting coils and one or more output coils inside; and a rotor arranged in an inner central space of the stator by being separated from the stator at a predetermined gap to be rotated with respect to a rotary shaft and vary gap permeance with the stator. Since an area ratio (As/Ar, wherein As is a cross sectional area of a stator and Ar is a cross sectional area of a rotor) of the stator and the rotor satisfies a mathematical formula of 0.22<= As/Ar <= 0.37, magnetic flux saturation of the resolver is prevented, measure accuracy is improved, and manufacturing costs are saved without increasing a size or a weight of the resolver.

    레졸버에 관한 기술이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 레졸버는, 적어도 1상 이상의 여자 코일과 적어도 1상 이상의 출력 코일이 배치되는 스테이터, 및 상기 스테이터와 소정 간극을 두고 상기 스테이터의 내측 중심 공간에 배치되어 회전축을 중심으로 회전하면서 상기 스테이터와의 갭 퍼미언스(gap permeance)를 변화시키는 로터를 포함하며, 상기 스테이터와 상기 로터의 면적비(As/Ar)가 아래의 수학식 1을 만족함으로써, 레졸버의 사이즈나 무게 증가 없이 레졸버의 자속 포화를 방지하고 측정 정밀도를 개선함은 물론, 제조 비용을 절감한다.
