The present invention provides an engine revolutions per minute (ERM) method, which is a priority storing method. According to the present invention, when an engine is monitored in a key-on state, an engine stall and a rapid increase in revolutions per minute (RPM) are determined through the RPM of the engine. A storage priority order of 1D_RPM data related to the engine stall and 2D_RPM data related to the rapid increase of the RPM is determined. The determined one with the storage priority order of the 1 D_RPM data and the 2D_RPM data is stored as new data into an ERM data memory (30), and at this time, existing storage data is removed, thereby remarkably increasing the availability of the ERM data memory (30). A reason why the engine stalls is accurately determined by using the 2 D_RPM Data (B1-B10) and the 1 D_RPM Data (A1-A10) detailed before/after the RPM rapidly increases and before/after the engine stalls, thereby overcoming the limitation of diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).

    본 발명의 우선순위저장방식 이알엠 방법에서는 키온(Key On) 시 엔진 모니터링이 이루어지면, 엔진의 RPM(Revolution Per Minute)으로 엔진 스톨(Stall)과 RPM 급상승이 판단되고, 엔진 스톨(Stall)에 관련된 제1 D_RPM Data와 RPM 급상승에 관련된 제2 D_RPM Data의 저장우선순위결정이 이루어지며, 제1 D_RPM Data와 제2 D_RPM Data중 우선순위결정이 이루어진 하나가 ERM 데이터 메모리(Egine RPM Monitoring Data Memory)(30)의 새로운 데이터로 저장되고, 저장 시 기존 저장 데이터가 지워짐으로써 ERM 데이터 메모리(Egine RPM Monitoring Data Memory)(30)활용성을 크게 높이고, 특히 RPM 급상승 전후 및 엔진 스톨(Engine Stall) 전후로 세분된 제2 D_RPM Data(B1-B10)와 제1 D_RPM Data(A1-A10)를 이용해 시동 꺼짐에 때한 정확한 원인 규명에 이용됨으로써 DTC(Diagnostic Trouble Code)가 갖는 한계성도 극복되는 특징을 갖는다.
