To provide an operator support control method with improved accuracy in determining a mental status and a physiological state of an operator.SOLUTION: An operator support control method includes: a head part coordinate acquisition step of acquiring position and shape data of a head part of an operator, and plotting the position and shape data on a cabin space coordinate system indicating a position in a cabin; a brain coordinate acquisition step of calculating a brain coordinate in the cabin space coordinate system from a head part coordinate and a brain database; a signal acquisition step of acquiring a signal derived from a specified position of the brain of the operator, plotting a signal generation coordinate on a sensor space coordinate system viewed from a sensor, and detecting a signal distribution from brain; an activation part acquisition step of allowing a signal distribution of the sensor space coordinate system to correspond to the cabin space coordinate system, and detecting an activated/inactivated brain part with referring to a brain coordinate; a determination step of determining whether or not the operator is in a support requiring state based on the activated part and/or the inactivated part; and an instruction step of issuing an instruction to support the operator when the operator is in a support requiring state. A position of the brain of the operator and a position of an organ constituting the brain are estimated by comparing a size and shape of the head part of the operator with the brain database, so that a region, an organ or the like which are activated in the brain can be correctly obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None
