To provide a parking lock mechanism of a drive, which can be efficiently installed in a space inside a case, where the depth varies.SOLUTION: A parking lock mechanism 31 comprises: a first retainer 41 which spans a first space 24 and a second space 25, and is installed in front of a parking pole 32 in a depth direction of a left case 2, so that the first retainer supports a parking pole shaft 33 and a support member 36; and a second retainer 42 which is disposed in the second space 25, and is installed behind the parking pole 32 in the depth direction of the left case 2. The left case 2 has a boss portion 51 which protrudes, in the first space 24, alongside the second retainer 42, from a left vertical wall 5 disposed at the back in the depth direction, so that the boss portion supports the parking pole shaft 33. The parking pole shaft 33 is supported by the boss portion 51 and the first retainer 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
