To smoothly carry out loading and unloading of liquefied carbon dioxide by suppressing generation of dry ice in piping.SOLUTION: A float includes: a float body, a tank arranged on the float body and capable of retaining liquefied carbon dioxide; a loading piping unit penetrating inside and outside of the tank from above to below for discharging the liquefied carbon dioxide supplied from outside into the tank; a bypass piping unit outside the tank with one end connected to the loading piping unit and the other end connected to the loading piping unit on a more downstream side than the first end with a smaller inner diameter than the loading piping unit; and a switching unit capable of switching the flow passage of the liquefied carbon dioxide between the loading piping unit and the bypass piping unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
