To provide a damper that has a reduced leakage magnetic flux to the outside while being configured to be small-sized and has damping force that acts on only one direction.SOLUTION: A damper 101 includes: a movable element 102 formed of a conductor into a cylindrical shape; a magnetic flux generating part 103 which is arranged inside the movable element, of which end on a first side in a direction of an axis line O1 of the movable element has polarity of a first polar and of which end on a second side in a direction of the axis line has polarity of a second polar different from the first polar; and a yoke 104 formed of a soft magnetic material into a bottomed cylindrical shape, part of which being disposed on a radial outside of the movable element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
