To provide a manufacturing method of a wheel for a saddle-riding type vehicle, which can sufficiently improve the mechanical properties of a rim part.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a wheel (100) for a saddle-riding type vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step (A) of forming an intermediate product (110') comprising an original hub part (110'), an original rim part (120'), and a plurality of original spoke parts (130') by gravity casting, a step (B) of performing flow forming processing on the original rim part of the intermediate product and stretching at least a part of the original rim part in a first direction (D1) from the center to one side in an axial direction and in a second direction (D2) from the center to the other side in the axial direction, respectively, while rotating the intermediate product, and a step (C) of completing at least the rim part (120) by cutting the intermediate product after the step (B). The ratio of a wall thickness (t1) of the original rim part after the step (B) and before the step (C) to a wall thickness (t2) of the rim part after the step (C) is 132% or more and 433% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】リム部の機械的性質を十分に向上させることが可能な、鞍乗型車両用ホイールの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の実施形態による鞍乗型車両用ホイール(100)の製造方法は、ハブ原形部(110’)と、リム原形部(120’)と、複数のスポーク原形部(130’)とを備える中間製品(110’)を重力鋳造法により形成する工程(A)と、中間製品のリム原形部に対してフローフォーミング加工を行う工程(B)であって、中間製品を回転させながら、リム原形部の少なくとも一部を、軸方向における中心から一側に向かう第1方向(D1)、および、軸方向における中心から他側に向かう第2方向(D2)にそれぞれ延伸する工程(B)と、工程(B)の後に、中間製品に対して切削加工を行うことによって、少なくともリム部(120)を完成させる工程(C)と、を包含する。工程(B)の後で工程(C)の前におけるリム原形部の肉厚(t1)の、工程(C)の後におけるリム部の肉厚(t2)に対する比は、132%以上433%以下である。【選択図】図4
