To provide a hybrid vehicle that is able to reduce a catalyst warm-up period and improve fuel consumption.SOLUTION: When a catalyst is warmed up by driving a diesel engine, a required amount of generated power necessary to raise a catalyst temperature to an active temperature is firstly obtained. If a charging rate when a battery is charged with the required amount of generated power exceeds a normal upper-limit charging rate of the battery, a diesel engine is stopped, and running of a motor that is rotationally driven by power supplied from the battery is executed for a predetermined time to reduce the charging rate of the battery. Thereafter, it is determined whether the charging rate when the battery is recharged with the required amount of generated power exceeds the normal upper-limit charging rate of the battery or not. On the other hand, when it is determined that the normal upper-limit charging rate of the battery is not exceeded, the diesel engine is driven to warm up the catalyst to the active temperature, and the battery is charged with power generated by the motor generator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】触媒暖機期間を短縮化し、燃費向上を図ることができるハイブリッド車両を提供する。【解決手段】ディーゼルエンジンを駆動して触媒を触媒暖機する場合に、先ず、触媒温度を活性温度まで昇温するために必要な要求発電量を取得する。そして、この要求発電量をバッテリに充電した際の充電率がバッテリの常用上限充電率を超える場合は、ディーゼルエンジンを停止して、モータジェネレータがバッテリからの給電により回転駆動されるモータ走行を所定時間実行して、バッテリの充電率を低下させる。その後、再度、要求発電量をバッテリに充電した際の充電率がバッテリの常用上限充電率を超えるか否かを判定する。一方、バッテリの常用上限充電率を超えないと判定した場合は、ディーゼルエンジンを駆動して触媒を活性温度に触媒暖機すると共に、モータジェネレータによって発電した発電電力をバッテリに充電するように構成する。【選択図】図1
