To provide a drive device for vehicle, capable of preventing sudden increase of rotation speed of a rotation element of a planetary gear, even when a state of a gear change unit becomes a neutral state during speed change, and driving of a drive circuit is stopped.SOLUTION: A drive device for vehicle comprises: a motor; an inverter circuit; a gear change unit having a planetary gear and an engagement unit and which can change speed; and a control unit for executing speed change by the gear change unit, when reaching to a gear change line Nch1, Nch2. The control unit sets the gear change lines Nch1, Nch2 so that as a voltage of a battery is lower, the gear change lines Nch1, Nch2 are lower, so that a reverse voltage generated by the motor does not become greater than a voltage of the battery when the gear change unit becomes in a neutral state in speed change, and switching driving of the inverter circuit is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】変速装置が変速中にニュートラル状態となり、かつ駆動回路の駆動が停止しても、プラネタリギヤの回転要素の回転速度が急上昇することを防止することが可能な車両用駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用駆動装置は、モータと、インバータ回路と、プラネタリギヤと係合装置とを有して変速が可能な変速装置と、変速線Nch1,Nch2に到達した際に、変速装置による変速を実行する制御部と、を備える。制御部は、変速装置が変速中にニュートラル状態となり、かつインバータ回路のスイッチング駆動が停止した際におけるモータが発生させる逆起電圧がバッテリの電圧よりも高くならないように、バッテリの電圧が低いほど変速線Nch1,Nch2が低くなるように変速線Nch1,Nch2を設定する。【選択図】図4
