To provide a responsibility value determining device with which a flaw hardly occurs in the next process that uses a latent accident responsibility value even when a latent accident responsibility value of low reliability is decided upon.SOLUTION: Provided is a responsibility value determining device 130 used in a host vehicle 1, comprising: accident responsibility determination units 151, 161, 171 for determining, for each candidate route, a latent accident responsibility value ALval that indicates the degree of responsibility of the host vehicle 1 in cases when the host vehicle 1 has traveled the candidate route Ti and an accident has occurred between the host vehicle 1 and surrounding vehicles present in the surrounding of the host vehicle 1; and verification units 153 163, 173 for acquiring the latent accident responsibility value ALval determined by a plurality of accident responsibility determination units including an accident responsibility determination unit to be verified which is predetermined from among the plurality of accident responsibility determination units and comparing the acquired latent accident responsibility values ALval with each other, thereby verifying the reliability of the accident responsibility determination unit to be verified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
