To allow the engagement/disengagement of a clutch and the actuation/release of a parking brake to be easily performed with a single operation tool and allow a quick clutch disengagement operation to be instantly performed without an erroneous operation.SOLUTION: In a walking type work machine, a clutch lever 3 is supported so as to be operated in a manner of being freely swung over a clutch engagement position a1 closest to a control handle 16, a clutch disengagement position a2 apart from the control handle 16 with respect to the clutch engagement position a1 and a parking brake position a3 provided on the side opposite to the clutch engagement position a1 with the clutch disengagement position a2 held therebetween. The walking type work machine comprises: a biasing mechanism which biases the clutch lever 3 against the clutch disengagement position a2; and a position regulation mechanism 4 which regulates the movement to the parking brake position a3 side from the clutch disengagement position a2 of the clutch lever 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
