To provide an unmanned inspection system which enables efficient omnidirectional movement by getting over a difference between unevenness even when there is unevenness in an inspection object, and has high safety, stability and reliability.SOLUTION: An unmanned inspection system includes: an inspection instrument 21 for inspecting an inspection object; a conveyance mechanism 10 that is mounted with the inspection instrument 21 and floats and moves without an attendant; an inspection unit 3 having a protective shell 9 arranged in the periphery of the inspection instrument 21 and the conveyance mechanism 10; a support net 4 having flexibility having first and second ends; and a position control support mechanism 5 which arranges a yaw axis that is provided between the first end and the inspection unit 3 and is defined in an extension direction of the support net 4 on an apex joint 6A for supporting rotation of the inspection unit 3 and upper end of the inspection object in a horizontally movable manner, wounds the second end of the support net 4, and locks delivery of the support net 4 when the support net 4 is delivered at a speed exceeding a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
