To improve controllability of a pitching pose of a vehicle when the vehicle brakes.SOLUTION: A brake device 30 is applied to a vehicle 10 comprising a regeneration brake device 50 that adjusts regeneration brake force applied to at least one of a front wheel 11 and a rear wheel 12. The brake device 30 comprises: a friction brake device 31 that adjusts a front wheel friction brake force and a rear wheel friction brake force; and a control device 35. The control device 35 comprises: a distribution ratio derivation unit 353 that, based on a target of a pitching pose of the vehicle 10, derives a front/rear brake force distribution ratio and a friction/regeneration distribution ratio; and an operation instruction unit 354 that, based on a target vehicle brake force as well as the front/rear brake force distribution ratio and the friction/regeneration distribution ratio, instructs the friction brake device 31 and the regeneration brake device 50 to operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
