To provide a manufacturing method for a composite rim with high accuracy, excellent yield, and high structural strength.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a composite rim has the steps of: forming a semi-molded rim by covering an outer surface of a gas bag 20 with a composite material 10, which is in the form of an annular tube that is completely sealed and contains a thermal expansion material 40 inside; placing the semi-molded rim into the mold; and heating the thermal expansion material, expanding the thermal expansion material to expand the gas bag, and curing and molding the semi-molded rim.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
