To provide a communication device for a vehicle capable of maintaining a communication function while achieving a reduction in the size of the device.SOLUTION: A communication device 1 for vehicle comprises: an antenna member 2 that transmits or receives signals wirelessly; a communication circuit 3 that enables communication by transmitting or receiving a signal with the antenna member 2; a control circuit 4 that controls energization of a steering lock device F installed to a vehicle, based on communication by the communication circuit 3; and a circuit board 6 on which the antenna member 2, the communication circuit 3, and the control circuit 4 are formed. The antenna member 2 is capable of absorbing the heat generated by the control circuit 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
