To provide a display that can fix a translucent substrate forming a light shielding layer and a decorative case by laser welding.SOLUTION: A display comprises: a display panel 1 having a light shielding region 1a in which a light blocking layer 12 having light shielding properties is formed on an outer periphery of a translucent plate member 11 and a translucent region 1b maintaining translucent properties of the plate member 11 inside the light shielding region 1a; a display device 2 for displaying information arranged so as to correspond to the translucent region 1b on one side of a surface of the display panel 1; and a case member 6 arranged so as to surround the display device 2 on the one side of the surface of the display panel 1 and having a facing part 62a facing the outer periphery. The light shielding region 1a has a welding design part 1c at a position facing the facing part 62a, and the display panel 1 and the case member 6 are joined by welding at the facing part 62a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
