To provide a light source device capable of scanning an incident plane of a wavelength conversion material with a finely narrowed beam spot and almost homogenizing light intensity distribution throughout a scanning region and to provide a projector mounted with the light source device.SOLUTION: A light source device 2 comprises: a laser beam source; a wavelength conversion member 15 which converts a wavelength of a laser beam to another wavelength and diffuses the laser beam with the wavelength thereof converted; a light deflector 14 which scans an incident plane of the wavelength conversion member 15 at least one-dimensionally with the laser beam; and an optical element 19 which is arranged on an optical path of the laser beam between the laser light source 12 and the wavelength conversion member 15. The optical element 19 has a plurality of lens sections in a region irradiated with the laser beam. Respective laser sections apply an optical action to the laser beams in a manner that converges the laser beams entering the respective laser sections and overlaps with almost an identical spot near the incident plane of the wavelength conversion member 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】小さく絞られビームスポットで波長変換部材の入射面を走査でき、且つ、全走査範囲において光量分布を略均一にすることが可能な光源装置およびそれを備えた投光装置を提供する。【解決手段】光源装置2は、レーザ光源と、レーザ光の波長を他の波長に変換するとともに波長変換されたレーザ光を拡散させる波長変換部材15と、レーザ光を波長変換部材15の入射面上において少なくとも1次元に走査させる光偏向器14と、レーザ光源12と波長変換部材15との間のレーザ光の光路に配置された光学素子19と、を備える。光学素子19は、レーザ光が照射される領域に複数のレンズ部を備え、各レンズ部は、各レンズ部に入射したレーザ光が、収束しつつ波長変換部材15の入射面付近において略同一スポットに重なるように、レーザ光に光学作用を付与する。【選択図】図1
