To enable a single device to adjust voltage of six-phase AC.SOLUTION: A reactor comprises: three legs made from ferromagnetic material; a first main winding that is wound around each of the legs and allows three-phase AC current to flow through the first main winding; a second main winding that is wound across two legs of each combination of two legs of the three legs and allows three-phase AC current having a phase shifted from that of the three-phase AC current flowing through the first main winding to flow through the second main winding; and a control winding that is wound around each of the legs and allows DC current to flow through the control winding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
