To construct a charging network of an electric vehicle using a charging stand while effectively utilizing the charging stand of each home.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle charging system comprises: a plurality of charging stands 10 each of which includes a storage battery 12 storing power supplied from a commercial system, and charges an on-vehicle battery 4 of an electric vehicle 3 using the power inside the storage battery 12; a management server 20 which is constituted to be communicable with the plurality of charging stands 10 and manages information about charge service provided by each charging stand 10; and a mobile communication terminal 30 receiving information about the charge service from the management server 20 while moving together with the electric vehicle 3. The charging stand 10 is constituted to be switchable between a personal mode that limits utilization of the charging stand to a specific user, and a generally open mode that permits general users to use the utilization of the charging stand. The management server 20 provides the mobile communication terminal 30 with information about the charge service provided by the charging stand 10 when the charging stand 10 is in the generally open mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
