To provide a slide bearing capable of suppressing occurrence of stress relaxation and securing high radial rigidity and low slide resistance, and further capable of reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 comprises a bearing body 10 that has elasticity and is formed in a cylindrical shape, an outer peripheral surface 10a of which abuts against the side surface of a hole 21 of a casing 20, and a support protrusion 12 of an inner peripheral surface 10b of which supports a cylindrical part 31 of a rack bar 30. The bearing body 10 has a slit 13 extending in an axial direction with a predetermined width, and a tightening margin projections 15 projecting radially outward from the outer peripheral surface 10a of each edge part on both sides of the slit 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
