To provide a work vehicle that can reliably avoid obstacle collision regardless of whether selecting a laser radar or an ultrasonic sensor of a vehicle equipped with the same for obstacle detection.SOLUTION: A work vehicle is comprised of: a first obstacle detection unit that detects an obstacle by using a laser radar unit; a second obstacle detection unit that detects an obstacle by using an ultrasonic sensor unit; a measurement environment determination unit for determining a quality of a measurement environment of the laser radar unit; a vehicle speed management unit that manages a first vehicle speed capable of stopping the vehicle body in front of the obstacle in response to the obstacle detection by the first obstacle detection unit, and a second vehicle speed that is slower than the first vehicle speed, which is capable of stopping the vehicle body in front of the obstacle in response to the obstacle detection by the second obstacle detection unit; and a travel control unit that travels the vehicle body at the second vehicle speed when a measurement environment failure is determined while the vehicle body is traveling at the first vehicle speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
