To provide a vehicle air conditioner which can reduce an amount of metal powder flowing from a motor to the evaporator side.SOLUTION: A blower unit 2 includes: a fan 20; a motor 21 having a rotary shaft part 211 which rotationally drives the fan 20, a commutator which rotates with the rotary shaft part 211, and a brush which contacts with the commutator; and a cover 5 which is installed between the fan 20 and the motor 21 so as to cover the motor 21. The cover 5 has an umbrella-shaped body which spreads toward the end from an inner peripheral edge part 51 to an outer peripheral edge part 52. The motor 21 includes a motor case 212 formed with cooling hole parts 210 allowing communication between an interior and an exterior of the motor 21. The cover 5 includes cover through hole parts 50 which penetrate through the cover 5 and allow communication between a cover rear space 5a provided between the cover 5 and the motor 21 and a fan side space 5b provided between the cover 5 and the fan 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
