To provide an electromagnetic wave use system capable of suppressing a dimness of a passage part where an electromagnetic wave passes.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave use system comprises: an electromagnetic wave device (camera) 100 for performing at least one of transmission and reception of an electromagnetic wave; and a passage part (windshield 1, inside glass 2) where the electromagnetic wave passes, the electromagnetic wave being used by the electromagnetic wave device 100. The passage parts 1, 2 comprise: an inside member (inside glass 2) provided on a side of the electromagnetic wave device 100; an outside member (windshield) 1 provided on an opposite side of the electromagnetic wave device 100; and a heat insulation part 3 for exhibiting a heat insulation function between the inside and outside members 2, 1, for suppressing dimness of a portion where the electromagnetic wave passes on the inside member 2. The heat insulation part 3 is in a vacuum state. The inside glass 2 is heated by a heater 11. Image data imaged by a camera 100 is processed by an image processor 20, the image data detects an object on a front side of a vehicle and is output to a collision safety control unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電磁波が通過する通過部の曇りを抑制可能な電磁波利用システムを提供する。【解決手段】電磁波の送受のうち少なくとも一方を行う電磁波装置(カメラ)100と、電磁波装置100が利用する電磁波が通過する通過部(フロントガラス1、内側ガラス2)とを備え、通過部1、2は、電磁波装置100側に設けられた内側部材(内側ガラス)2と、電磁波装置100と反対側に設けられた外側部材(フロントガラス)1と、内側部材2のうち電磁波が通過する部位の曇りを抑制するように内側部材2と外側部材1との間で断熱機能を発揮する断熱部3とを有している。断熱部3は真空になっている。内側ガラス2はヒータ11により加熱される。カメラ100が撮影した画像データは画像処理装置20で処理され、車両前方の物体を検知し、衝突安全制御装置21に出力される。【選択図】図2
