To achieve a coupling structure of shafts in which, even when a defect occurs in a welded part, a torque can be transmitted and a separation can be prevented without causing a play in a circumferential direction between the shafts.SOLUTION: Among a male joint 46 and a female shaft 30 which couple to each other, an outer-peripheral-side convex-concave part 58 that is in a convex-concave shape in a circumferential direction and an annular concave groove 57 are formed on an outer peripheral face of the male joint 46, and an inner-peripheral-side convex-concave part 41 that is in a convex-concave shape in a circumferential direction is formed on an inner peripheral face of the female shaft 30, in which the outer-peripheral-side convex-concave part 58 and the inner-peripheral-side convex-concave part 41 are convex-concave engaged. Here, minute projections formed on an outer face of outer-peripheral-side convex part configuring the outer-peripheral-side convex-concave part 58 is plastically deformed. Also, the outer peripheral face of the male joint 46 and an end on one side in an axial direction of the female shaft 30 are welded and fixed. Further, a caulking part 62 formed on an inner peripheral face of the female shaft 30 is arranged on an inner side of the annular concave groove 57.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】溶接部に欠陥が生じた場合にも、シャフト同士の間で、円周方向に関するがたつきを生じることなく、トルクを伝達することができ、かつ、分離防止を図れる、シャフト同士の結合構造を実現する。【解決手段】互いに結合する雄ジョイント46と雌軸30とのうち、雄ジョイント46の外周面には、円周方向に関する凹凸形状の外周側凹凸部58と環状凹溝57とを設け、雌軸30の内周面には、円周方向に関する凹凸形状の内周側凹凸部41を設け、外周側凹凸部58と内周側凹凸部41とを凹凸係合させる。この際に、外周側凹凸部58を構成する外周側凸部の外面に形成した微小突起を塑性変形させる。かつ、雄ジョイント46の外周面と雌軸30の軸方向一方側の端部とを溶接固定し、さらに、雌軸30の内周面に形成したかしめ部62を環状凹溝57の内側に配置する。【選択図】図5
