To provide a rubber member capable of improving on-ice performance of a rubber articles when the rubber member is used for a rubber article such as a tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber member having particles, wherein a plurality of minute recesses exist on the surface of the rubber member, and the particles are arranged on the inner surface of the minute recesses, and wherein the particle has a long diameter of less than 50 μm when being in a non-fibrous state or has a minor axis length of less than 50 μm and a major axis length of less than 500 μm when being in a fibrous state and has dibutyl phthalate (DBP) oil absorbing quantity of 140 ml/100 g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
