To provide an electromagnetic suspension apparatus capable of meeting a request to improve riding comfort irrespective of the magnitude of a spring constant preset in a spring member.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic suspension apparatus comprises: an electromagnetic actuator 13 that is provided in parallel with a spring member provided between the vehicle body and the wheel of a vehicle 10 and generates a driving force related to the vibration damping of the vehicle body; an information acquisition unit 51 that acquires information on the stroke position of the electromagnetic actuator 13; and an ECU 15 that calculates the target driving force of the electromagnetic actuator 13 and uses the calculated target driving force to control the driving force of the electromagnetic actuator. When the stroke position acquired by the information acquisition unit 51 is in a neutral region CT1 including a neutral position, the ECU 15 corrects the target driving force so as to reduce a spring force related to the spring member as compared with when the stroke position is in non-neutral regions CT2 and CT3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ばね部材に予め設定されるばね定数の大きさにかかわらず、乗り心地の改善要求に応答可能な電磁サスペンション装置を得る。【解決手段】車両10の車体と車輪の間に備わるばね部材に並設され車体の振動減衰に係る駆動力を発生させる電磁アクチュエータ13と、電磁アクチュエータ13のストローク位置の情報を取得する情報取得部51と、電磁アクチュエータ13の目標駆動力を算出すると共に、当該算出した目標駆動力を用いて電磁アクチュエータの駆動力制御を行うECU15と、を備える。ECU15は、情報取得部51で取得したストローク位置が中立位置を含む中立領域CT1に存する場合、ストローク位置が非中立領域CT2,CT3に存する場合に比べてばね部材に係るばね力を弱めるように目標駆動力の補正を行う。【選択図】図3
