To suppress relative displacement due to vibration between a separation cylinder and its peripheral component, without impairing performance, in a one-sided suction type centrifugal blower for vehicle.SOLUTION: A separation cylinder (14) is configured to separate flow of air suctioned from a suction port (22) of a scroll housing (17) to the inside of the scroll housing, into a first air flow passing through the outside of the separation cylinder and a second air flow passing through the inside of the separation cylinder. A plurality of ribs (40A, 40B, 40C, 40D) bridged between the separation cylinder and the scroll housing are provided, and each rib extends within a region closer to an inlet side end part (24) of the separation cylinder than an inlet end (221) of the suction port of the scroll housing, with respect to in a rotational axis (Ax) of an impeller (2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
