PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for avoiding loading a stowage exceeding a maximum weight threshold into a stowage bin within a cabin of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A stowage bin assembly 502 within an interior cabin of a vehicle includes a weight sensor 532 that is configured to detect the weight of the stowage bin assembly. A stowage bin control unit 508 outputs an alert when the detected weight exceeds a maximum weight threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
