PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing material of magnesium alloy having sufficient strength, capable of reducing weight and capable of improving rigidity as a structure, a method for production thereof, and to provide a reinforcer, interior material, body structure of railway vehicle and body structure of traffic transportation means.SOLUTION: A pressing material 7A is a magnesium alloy including calcium and is prepared by bend-processing the magnesium alloy using a press die. The pressing material 7A is a shape for configuring a body structure 2 by combining with an outside plate 3, and functions as a main frame configuring the body structure 2. The pressing material 7A is arranged inside an outside plate 3 (in-vehicle side) in such a form as being orthogonal to the outside plate 3. The thickness of the material 7A is preferably 1 mm or more but 6 mm or less. Besides in the material 7A, the ratio R/Rof an internal diameter Rof a bending part 7d to an external diameter Rthereof is preferably 0 or more but less than 6, and also preferably, the ratio R/t of the external diameter Rto a plate thickness t is 0.2 or more but 12.0 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】十分な強度を有し軽量化を図ることができるとともに構造体として剛性を向上させることができるマグネシウム合金のプレス材とその製造方法、補強材、内装材、鉄道車両の構体及び交通輸送手段の構体を提供する。【解決手段】プレス材7Aは、カルシウムを含有するマグネシウム合金である。プレス材7Aは、マグネシウム合金がプレス金型によって曲げ加工されている。プレス材7Aは、外板3と組み合わせて構体2を構成する形材であり、構体2を構成する主要な骨組として機能する。プレス材7Aは、外板3と直交するように外板3の内側(車内側)に配置されている。プレス材7Aは、厚さを1mm以上6mm以下にすることが好ましい。プレス材7Aは、曲げ部7dの内径R1と外径R2との比R1/R2が0よりも大きく6未満であり、外径R2と板厚tとの比R2/tが0.2以上12.0以下であることが好ましい。【選択図】図2
