PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently achieve cooling of an exhaust system component 13 of an engine 1 by running wind and protection of fuel system components 22, 23 upon generation of vehicle frontal collision.SOLUTION: The upper structure of an engine includes: a first rectification member 17 which is installed on the upper side of a rear exhaust engine 1 and rectifies running wind to flow backward; a second rectification member 18 which is adjacent to the rear side of the first rectification member 17 and rectifies the running wind rectified by the first rectification member 17 to direct an exhaust system component 13.
