PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient estimation device for enabling highly accurate gradient estimation.SOLUTION: A gradient estimation device 10 capable of being mounted on a vehicle A includes: a first input part 10a for acquiring a detected value from an acceleration sensor 8a for detecting acceleration of the vehicle A in a cross direction; a second input part 10a of acquiring rotational angular velocity of the vehicle A; and a gradient calculation part 10b for calculating a gradient of a travel route on which the vehicle A travels in a manner that a centrifugal force component is subtracted from a detected component detected by an acceleration sensor on the basis of the detection value from the acceleration sensor 8a and the rotational angular velocity of the vehicle A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
