PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas carrier building method capable of breaking down a liquefied gas carrier into building parts such as a hull, a liquefied gas tank, and gas related devices, ordering some or all of the building parts to a specialized yard or maker, and completing the liquefied gas carrier at a last assembling shipyard when the liquefied gas carrier is built, and a hull lower structure.SOLUTION: The liquefied gas carrier building method includes: building a hull lower structure 10A of a hull 10 which has neither a topside tank 11 nor an upper deck 12 in a first building dock 2; mounting a liquefied gas tank 20 on the hull lower structure 10A in a state in which the hull lower structure 10A is floated after it has been floated and shipped out of the first building dock; docking the hull lower structure 10B on which the liquefied gas tank 20 has been mounted into the first building dock 2 or a second building dock 3; and building the topside tank 11 and the upper deck 12 in the docked-in state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】液化ガス運搬船の建造に際して、船体、液化ガスタンク、ガス関連機器群などの建造パーツに分解し、各建造パーツの一部、若しくは全部を専門ヤード若しくは専門メーカーに発注し、最終組み上げの造船所で完成させることができる液化ガス運搬船の建造方法及び船体下部構造体を提供する。【解決手段】第1建造ドック2内でトップサイドタンク11が無く、かつ、上甲板12が無い状態の船体10である船体下部構造体10Aを建造し、浮上させて第1建造ドックから出渠した後、この船体下部構造体10Aを浮上させた状態で液化ガスタンク20を船体下部構造体10Aに搭載し、この液化ガスタンク20を搭載した船体下部構造体10Bを第1建造ドック2又は第2建造ドック3にドック入りさせて、ドック入りした状態で、トップサイドタンク11と上甲板12を建造することを含む。【選択図】図4
