PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting method for a unit having a disconnection mechanism, by which an operation of fitting the unit having the disconnection mechanism to a body is made simpler than a conventional operation.SOLUTION: Using an adjustment shim S1, the position of an actuator module A2 in the direction of a first rotation axis C1 is adjusted with respect to a shift module A1. Thereby, the respective positions of the outer- peripheral disconnection tooth 62a of a disconnection sleeve 62 and the inner-periphery disconnection tooth 52b of a ring gear 52 when a unit A having a disconnection mechanism is fitted to a body B can be adjusted to the optimum positions. Accordingly, without disassembling the shift module A1 and the actuator module A2, the positions of the outer-periphery disconnection tooth 62a of the disconnection sleeve 62 and the inner-periphery disconnection tooth 52b of the ring gear 52 can be adjusted to the optimum positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
