PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow member having an increased fatigue life by imparting enough corrosion resistance to prevent corrosion pits at a bead cut part on the inner surface of a steel pipe.SOLUTION: A hollow member has a composition comprising, in mass%, C: 0.20%-0.40%, Si: 0.50%-1.5%, Mn: 0.3%-1.5%, Cr: 0.1%-1.6%, P: 0.020% or less, S: 0.010% or less, Cu: 0.1%-0.5%, Ni: 0.1%-0.5%, Nb: 0.02%-0.5%, Ca: 0.005% or less, B: 0.0005%-0.0050%, Al: 0.005%-0.1%, N: 0.010% or less, Ti: 0.02%-0.1% with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. Preferably, the hollow member further has at least one selected from V: more than 0 to 0.5% and Mo: more than 0 to 0.5%. The hollow member has a hardness of 450Hv or more. The hollow member is used as a hollow stabilizer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
