PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, capable of striking a balance between ozone resistance and appearance, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire contains a rubber component containing a hydrogenated copolymer which is obtained by hydrogenating an aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer and which has a weight-average molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography of 300,000 or more and a hydrogenation rate of a conjugated diene moiety of 80 mol% or more. The rubber composition for a tire contains substantially no chemical antioxidant.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】耐オゾン性と外観性を両立することができる、タイヤ用ゴム組成物、及びそれを用いた空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】芳香族ビニル−共役ジエン共重合体が水素添加された水添共重合体であって、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーにより測定された重量平均分子量が30万以上であり、共役ジエン部の水素添加率が80モル%以上である水添共重合体を含むゴム成分を含有し、化学的老化防止剤を実質含まないことを特徴とする、タイヤ用ゴム組成物とする。【選択図】なし
