PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of smoothly blowing air from an air blowing unit to an air distribution unit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 for a vehicle includes: an air blowing unit 10 including an impeller 111 having a plurality of blades 12, and a motor 19 rotatably driving the impeller 111; an air distribution unit 20 having a plurality of blowout ports 24, 25; and a duct unit 30 that connects the air blowing unit 10 and the air distribution unit 20, and has a flow passage 31 of air blown from the air blowing unit 10. A travelling direction D2 of the flow passage 31 is inclined to a suction direction D1 side of the air sucked into the impeller 111 with respect to an axial perpendicular plane P traversing the center of the impeller 111 among axial perpendicular planes perpendicular to the rotation axis O of the motor 19. Further, the blades 12 are twisted so that the rotation phase of an end portion of the impeller 111 on the suction port 17 side precedes the rotation phase of an end portion of the impeller 111 on a side opposite to the suction port 17 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
