PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detector that comprises three or more systems of rotation angle detecting units and can determine abnormality of the three or more systems of rotation angle detecting units by comparing the outputs of the rotation angle detecting units, and a torque sensor with this rotation angle detector.SOLUTION: A torque sensor 1 comprises: a first rotation angle detector 10A having three systems of first to third rotation angle detecting units 12A to 14A arranged on an input shaft 32a; a second rotation angle detector 10B having three systems of fourth to sixth rotation angle detecting units 12B to 14B arranged on an output shaft 32b; and a first controller 17. The first controller 17 compares first to third input shaft rotation angles θis1 to θis3 input from the first rotation angle detector 10A with one another to determine abnormality of the first to third rotation angle detecting units 12A to 14A, and compares first to third output shaft rotation angles θos1 to θos3 input from the second rotation angle detector 10B with one another to determine abnormality of the fourth to sixth rotation angle detecting units 12B to 14B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】回転角を検出する3系統以上の回転角検出部を備え、これら3系統以上の回転角検出部の出力の比較によって回転角検出部の異常判定を行うことが可能な回転角度検出器及びこれを備えたトルクセンサを提供する。【解決手段】トルクセンサ1は、入力軸32aに配置された3系統の第1〜第3の回転角検出部12A〜14Aを備えた第1の回転角度検出器10Aと、出力軸32bに配置された3系統の第4〜第6の回転角検出部12B〜14Bを備えた第2の回転角度検出器10Bと、第1のコントローラ17とを備え、第1のコントローラ17は、第1の回転角度検出器10Aから入力された第1〜第3の入力軸回転角θis1〜θis3を相互比較して第1〜第3の回転角検出部12A〜14Aの異常を判定し、第2の回転角度検出器10Bから入力された第1〜第3の出力軸回転角θos1〜θos3を相互比較して第4〜第6の回転角検出部12B〜14Bの異常を判定する。【選択図】図3
