PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of suppressing backlash between an internal gear and an external gear in a reclining device for adjusting inclination of a seat back.SOLUTION: A reclining device 20 includes a cam 40 that interposes in an interposed position between a boss 24e of an internal gear 24 and a bush 23c of an external gear 23 to increase an amount of eccentricity, and moves from the interposed position to an axially one end side of a rotational shaft 30 to decrease the amount of eccentricity. Further, the rotational shaft 30 includes a second extension surface 33b that, in rotational turning, comes into contact with end faces 45 and 46 of the cam 40 to guide the cam 40, against energization by energizing means 26, to the axially one end side according to the rotational turning. The boss 24e of the internal gear 24 and an inner periphery 44 of the cam 40 facing the boss 24e are inclinedly formed such that the diameters thereof become smaller toward the axially one end side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11

    【課題】シートバックの傾きを調整するリクライニング装置であって、内歯歯車と外歯歯車の間のガタつきを抑制し得る構成を提供する。【解決手段】リクラインニング装置20は、内歯歯車24のボス部24eと外歯歯車23のブッシュ23cとの間の介在位置に介在することで偏心の量を増やし、介在位置から回動軸30の軸方向一端側に移動することで偏心の量を減らすカム40を備えている。また、回動軸30には、回動時にカム40の端面45,46に接触し、回動に応じてカム40を付勢部材26による付勢に抗して軸方向一端側に案内する第2延出面33bが設けられ、内歯歯車24のボス部24eと当該ボス部24eに対向するカム40の44とは、軸方向一端側ほど径が小さくなるように傾斜して形成される。【選択図】図11
