PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire retardant thermoplastic material having good fire retardancy, antistatic property, and excellent mechanical property.SOLUTION: There are provided a fire retardant thermoplastic foam bead containing a fire retardant containing a thermoplastic base resin and a complex of phosphine oxide and a transition metal salt, and a carbon nanofiber antistatic agent, and a foaming agent selected from an organic foaming agent and/or an inorganic foaming agent, a foam molded article manufactured from the fire retardant thermoplastic foam bead and having surface resistance of 1.0×107 Ω to 1.0×109 Ω, limit oxygen index of 20 to 40, and preferably compressive strength of 170 to 600 kPa.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
