PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make braking force more suitable when an accelerator is off.SOLUTION: An automobile comprises a motor for traveling and a battery exchanging electric power with the motor, in which the motor is controlled so that braking force acts on the vehicle when an accelerator is off. It is determined whether or not a driver has intention of decelerating, and when it is determined that the driver has no intention of decelerating, the braking force to be applied to the vehicle at the time when the accelerator is off is reduced as compared with that at the time when it is determined that the driver has intention of decelerating. With this, it becomes possible to make the braking force at the time when the accelerator is off more suitable according to whether or not the driver has intention of decelerating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】アクセルオフ時の制動力をより適切なものとする。【解決手段】走行用のモータおよびこのモータと電力をやりとりするバッテリを備え、アクセルオフ時には制動力が車両に作用するようにモータを制御するものにおいて、運転者の減速の意思があるか否かを判断し、運転者の減速の意思がないと判断したときには、運転者の減速の意思があると判断したときに比して、アクセルオフ時に車両に作用させる制動力を低減する。これにより、運転者の減速の意思があるか否かに応じてアクセルオフ時の制動力をより適切なものとすることができる。【選択図】図4
