PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of securing high heating capacity in a full hot mode, and securing sufficient blowout quantity in an air-mix mode.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 for a vehicle includes a casing 10 having an air flow passage inside, a heat exchanger 15 for heating for heating the air flowing in the air flow passage, an auxiliary heater 16 smaller than the heat exchanger for heating, which is disposed opposed to an outflow surface 15b of the heat exchanger for heating where the heated air outflows, and an opening/closing part 30 for opening/closing a control region S1 which is part of a region where the auxiliary heater is not disposed, of the outflow surface. The opening/closing part closes the control region in a full hot mode, and opens the control region in a mode other than the full hot mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】 本発明の目的は、フルホットモードのときには高い暖房能力を確保できるとともに、エアミックスモードのときには十分な吹出し量を確保できる車両用空調装置を提供することである。【解決手段】 車両用空調装置1を、内部に空気流路を有するケーシング10と、空気流路を流れる空気を加熱する暖房用熱交換器15と、暖房用熱交換器よりも小型で、加熱された空気が流出する暖房用熱交換器の流出面15bに対向して配置される補助ヒータ16と、流出面のうち、補助ヒータが配置されていない領域の一部である制御領域S1を開閉可能な開閉部30と、を備えたものとし、開閉部は、フルホットモードのときに制御領域を閉塞し、フルホットモード以外のときに制御領域を開放する。【選択図】図6
