PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "charge control method for an on-vehicle storage battery" capable of elongating a life of a charge switch by suppressing increase in the number of times of switching of the charge switch while improving an economic effect by keeping the value of a PV charge ratio being high.SOLUTION: Charging a storage battery 230 of a vehicle 200 is started when surplus power of power generated by photovoltaic power generation devices 110, 120 is equal to or larger than predetermined threshold power. Also, in the case that a PV charge ratio, the ratio of electric energy supplied from the photovoltaic power generation devices to electric energy supplied to the storage battery, is equal to or larger than a threshold charge ratio at the time of starting charging the storage battery, charging the storage battery is stopped when the PV charge ratio becomes smaller than the threshold charge ratio. In the case that the PV charge ratio is smaller than the predetermined threshold charge ratio at the time of starting charging the storage battery, charging the storage battery is stopped when the PV charge ratio decreases. Thereby, the PV charge ratio can be kept high while elongating lives of charge switches 154, 241, 242, 261, 262.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】PV充電率を高い値に維持して経済効果を高めながらも、充電用開閉器の切替え回数の増大を抑制し、充電用開閉器の寿命を伸ばすことが可能な「車載蓄電池の充電制御方法」を提供すること。【解決手段】太陽光発電装置110、120による電力の余剰電力が所定の閾値電力以上である場合に車両200の蓄電池230への充電を開始する。更に、蓄電池へ供給される電力量のうち太陽光発電装置から供給される電力量の比であるPV充電率が蓄電池への充電の開始時点において所定の閾値充電率以上である場合は、PV充電率が同閾値充電率未満となったときに蓄電池への充電を終了し、PV充電率が充電の開始時点において所定の閾値充電率未満である場合は、PV充電率が減少した時点にて蓄電池への充電を終了する。これにより、PV充電率を高くすることができるとともに、充電用開閉器154、241、242、261、262の寿命を伸ばすことができる。【選択図】図1
