PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air intake resistance by avoiding flow of outside air to be taken in through two adjacent sides of an air intake port from colliding with each other.SOLUTION: An air intake duct 1, installed on a rear surface of a cab 2 of a transportation vehicle and extended in a vertical direction, into which outside air is taken in as air intake for an engine through an air intake port 3 opened across two adjacent sides, above the port, comprises: a duct main body 4 having an outer shell structure with the air intake port 3 opened upward; and a louver 5 which covers the air intake port 3 to inhibit entrance of air other than the outside air. A louver board 5a of the louver 5 which covers a relatively largely opened side (a rear surface in a figure 1) of the air intake port 3 is inclinedly arranged so that a posture in a width direction thereof slopes downward, toward a boundary between the two adjacent sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空気取入口の隣り合う二側面から吸い込まれる外気の流れの衝突を回避して吸気抵抗の低減化を図る。【解決手段】運搬車両のキャブ2後面に据え付けられて上下方向に延在し且つその上側で隣り合う二側面間に亘り開口した空気取入口3から外気をエンジン用吸気として取り入れる吸気ダクト1に関し、前記空気取入口3を上側に開口して外殻構造を成すダクト本体4と、前記空気取入口3を被覆して外気以外の侵入を阻むルーバー5とを備え、前記空気取入口3における相対的に大きく開口している方の側面(図1中の後面)を被覆するルーバー5の羽板5aを、その幅方向の姿勢が前記隣り合う二側面の境界側へ向け下り勾配を成すように傾斜配置する。【選択図】図1
